e-pals

E-pals is an electronic version of 'pen friends'. It is a message board specifically for meeting other internet users. You can read (and reply to) other people’s messages as well as post your own new messages - these can be read by anyone who logs in to e-pals (e-m@iler plus users or PC users who visit the PlusZone at www.amsurf.co.uk).
Here are a few guidelines to consider when you’re using the Internet to meet people and chat anonymously:
  • Online, people might not be who they say they are. You could be putting yourself at risk if you arrange to meet someone you have met on the Internet If you do agree to meet someone, never go alone, always meet in a public place. Never go in the other person’s car, and do tell a friend where you’re going and, just as importantly, when you’ll be back.
  • Don’t give out your name, address, or telephone number or ask anyone else for this information online.
  • PlusZone’s chatrooms and message boards are unmoderated (not monitored). Please do not intimidate or smear others by sending abusive, menacing, obscene or defamatory messages - you could incur legal liability and be in breach of the Amsurf Terms of Use if you do.

Please note - entering e-pals means
you will leave the Amsurf website.
